Hedging has steadily gained in popularity over the last few years. From windbreaks, screening and privacy to noise and light barriers, from flowering to fruiting there is a hedging plant for every situation.
Crown Nursery offers an extensive range of British-grown native hedging, sold as bare-root plants from November-March and a limited range of container-grown natives and evergreens all year round. If you are still not sure what to plant why not consider one of our popular Mixed Hedging Packs. Each pack contains 50 plants – specially selected for their characteristics. These will solve your problem – providing a carefully-selected mix specific for differing sites and soils.
Ordering & Delivery
We offer a mail-order service covering the UK mainland, for bare-root hedging and other dormant plants, operating between November and March only. Alternatively you can collect from the nursery. Our trained and experienced staff can offer advice on selection and planting, pruning regimes and rabbit and deer protection where necessary.
The bare-root season is now finished – New stock will be available from around November this year. Pre orders can be taken, please contact the office with your requirements.
